...how do i get rid of them?? I'm guessing my C Canister might be gone or going, but how can i be sure its just the CC. I also have a bad injector but it can't be funkin up my car this bad. Anyone suggest i replace, remove, or just plug the cc hoses after removal (if that is the prob).

uh well if its an s13 they are notorious for leaky injector seals. other than that check all the fuel hoses. never heard of a canister going bad but what do i know.

definately injectors.

does it idle a bit rough too?

I had that prob and replaced injectors 2 and 3 and viola, all better. Although, I would make sure it is indeed the injector, and not just the seal. If it's just a seal, that saves you a few hundred...if you do your own work.

SxMachine, here's a test to see what injector it is - start it up, open hood, and wiggle each injector. When the engine sputters or does anything different, then it's that injector. And like I said, just check the seal first before you go and buy all new injectors...at least where I live I couldn't find injectors for under 100 bux ea.

$100 damn, must be dealer F.I.'s. Pythons (venom) $40 bucks a piece. No big deal. I'm just hoping that's all the prob is. I prob replace the seals on a few anyway $1.50 why not.

Check under the rear mat too, it could be a failing seal around the sending unit. Also the return hard-line may be cracked or have a rust pinhole and its peeing out. this recently happened to my dad's Volvo. If it were leaky injectors I would imagine the smell would be more evident outside the car, not inside.

I first noticed the smell on the inside, and then I popped the hood and could smell it in the engine bay. The smell was strongest on the inside only when first warming up, or stopping. But it is quite evident inside the car as well. I drove my car for a few days like that while I tried to figure it out. I got VERY nervous when someone would toss a cigarette out their window infront of me. USE THE ASH TRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just took it in ASAP because I couldn't handle the paranioa and i didn't have time to fix it myself.
