gas from tail pipe

i dont know whats going on but i have gas coimg out of my tail pipes.... actual drips not just the smell of gas. its running very rich, why anybody know? a senor or something causeing to much gas to get dumped or what. any help thanks

Bad O2, MAF? The things get old on the Z and are the two closely related to the problem. There are specific ways to clean each so don't guess, look around for the right way if you pursue that.

Not to be depressing but fuel in the pipes can help rusting along too from the inside out, not to mention a fire hazard, be careful

do you think its a bad o2 or maf or you guessing. Im not trying to sound mean or anything just wondering. thanks for the help.

You probably have a nasty miss also. Check and make sure all cylinders are firing. Start the car and pul each coil plug one at a time to find the one that is not hitting. You either have a coil not firing or a bad injector seal. Email me at [email protected] and let me know any info you have and I will help you out.

ok thanks ill try that...... im just worried that its something really bad and i wont be able to fix it and i cant afford something major to take to the shop. i really love this car... thanks for the help again
