Well my coupe has an SR w/ a fair amount of mods. The problem I'm facing right now is that I just filled up 2days ago, and I'm already close to a half tank of gas. It's right at the 100 mile on the tripomeder. I usually keep the boost at 10 or less when daily driving it, and most of the miles are highway. Just wondering what some of you guys input would be for the problem w/ my SR??? Tried searching but nothing is really helping me out at this point.

bad gas gauge on the cluster. Mine would read about 80 miles in the first half. Then about 180 miles a little above 1/4. when I fill up its only 7-8 gallons.

I just replace mine recently and it's looking good about 170miles above half.

Try driving it off boost. When you boost you use more gas. I only get about 22 mpg's city because Im addicted to boosting. I drove off boost and got 30 mpg's city. I would guess off boost @ 65 mph(about 2500rpm) I would get about 40 mpg's. I also have a new z32 fuel filter, new iridium plugs and use lucas fuel injector cleaner every tank. Ohh,Cant forget the Royal Purple!

I'm not in boost all the time, I would say 45% of the time. Also with the gas gauge in the cluster I will check that out. I don't think the SR is running 100% right now. I'm going to go through it today.

Engine is running normal, no un-wanted bogging, or sputtering. But it does idle funny every now and then. Might be my ECU I forgot I was running my MINES ECU which is pry dumping in more fuel than usual. As far as maintenance it was all basically rebuilt, and o2 sensor should be fine.

I'm having the same problem. Just got a black top and my gas mileage is horrible. I'm on my third tank or so. Average about 240 miles per tank. I'm mostly on high ways. Running stock boost, stock sr. But I think i'm running a little rich cause there's black stains on my rear bumper. hehe I also need help. I can't afford to get 91 gas so often

I'm running a ka24e fuel pump. Just got walboro would that make a difference in gas mileage? It's not going to get worse is it? Or could it actually get better?

You should use 91+ in the stock ka and nothing less than 91+in the SR motor! Unless you have a adjustable FPR, you might run rich with the walboro as it will up the pressure. But you should be running the walboro anyway.
