You make think its frozen,But it is an other issue,I have found that that the gas door will freeze and not open when you pull the lever,This happened a few times so i found a quick fix,The actual metal that grabs and holds the door in the inside has to be bent slightly, there is to much pressure on this bracket against the release.becareful when you do this not to bend the door,It just needs a little push.Do a little at a time,When closing the door see how hard you have to push it with your fingers,When the door is about 1 1/2 away from the body you feel the latch,I adjusted it so i slightly tap my finger against it and it closes, next morning tried it,Problem fixed.

another quick fix i keep seeing is the over extension of the gas door lever pulling the cable out of the retension bracket. FYI if this ever happens.
