Thank you! I'll look up on it tomorrow.94_240sx wrote:You are missing this part. 84430B and the thing that goes to. If you give a prt guy 843 & [A 01], he should be able to find it.
Its a sleeper, you don't know its there :OZOMG.SR20 wrote:Nismo gas cap, really now
Thanks, man. I got bummed out when I found that Nismo gas cap is not replacing OEM gas cap. It's actually a cap that goes over the OEM cap. Funny...Scuffed_ChukiCoupe wrote:Thats probably the hottest gas tank shot ive ever seen.
funny? hahaha no...lol I saw that and had to put that pic there. I removed my gas door about 2 maybe 3 years ago b/c i was going to repaint it since a little spot of rust was sticking to the ice and I couldn't open the door to put gas in. I really need to get that done...94_240sx wrote:

Put a hammer in the back and hit one side of it no for real, trace down the cable and see if it broke or binded up.SolaraOnBronze wrote:Hate to bring back an old thread, but I went to pop my gas door to fill up last night and realized it won't open. I think something broke where the handle meets the cable, since the handle is super close to the slider for my nagisa seat rail.
Is there a trick for opening the tank if the latch doesnt work? Maybe some sort of a manual release in the trunk area back by the tank?
Yah I know how it is, do you have a cliton's book? I still need to get one it should have diagrams showing routing or if there is a "manual" release. I've never owned one that did. Mine doesn't open first pull of the handle I pull the handle and hold it or give it a three time pull. Try that it may work.SolaraOnBronze wrote:I don't really have time to trace the cable right now. Obviously that is what I need to do, but I am looking for a quick solution to opening the door so that I can fill up. I am at work right now and I live 65 miles from work, so I need to fill up today before I head home or I won't make it.
I suspect the problem has something to do with the handle area like I said, but I wondered if there was a release somewhere in the trunk area on the back side of the door like Most cars have.
Uh, ya thats not right at all. 84430B is a nut...94_240sx wrote:You are missing this part. 84430B and the thing that goes to. If you give a prt guy 843 & [A 01], he should be able to find it.
Mine is picky like that too, but not this time. I know the routing of the cable and all that jazz from when I had my interior out during the build, but I was hoping to just pop it open quick and easily on my way to the gas station after work today, not gut my interior on a side street tracing the cable and looking for a break after work on a friday.ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote: Yah I know how it is, do you have a cliton's book? He said that the part is missing, therefore, the door would not stay closed. You really shoudl read these threads better. U still have yet to contribute anything constructive at all in all of your posts.ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote: Yah I know how it is, do you have a cliton's book?
