Doing a mild 2inch drop on my truck this weekend (I mean 2 inch block in rear, duplicating ride height in front with torsion adjust) and I was considering replacing the front shocks while I was under there. Figure a bit more dampening would help with the lessened travel and might curb some brake-dive and roll.

So, which is better? My first instinct was gas-a-just, as I don't want this thing to become super hard and the monomax appear to be more aimed at offroading/hauling. I know Pezi uses(used?) gas-a-just in his rear, but I was hoping you guys could offer some advice.

Monomax is a great shock but don't count out the GasAJust. It's a monotube shock as well, it just doesn't have the bellows covering the shaft and costs a little less. I have had GAJ on my truck for 2 years now, the ride is wonderful and I have had no problems with them at all to date.
