hey guys...I was wondering..My friend is giving me his used aftermarket garrett t3 turbo...It needs to be rebuild but blades spin...Anyways...If I had a wastegate spring set at 7psi...ITs a 7psi spring..And I run a boostcontroller with 5psi up to 7psi...Will the boost spike on me? Since its a 7psi spring? Will the wastegate be stuck on 7psi if it accedently spikes....I mean...Like for example...My setup will be different but....

I run this turbo and a boostcontroller and sr20det stock injectors and FPR....Boost controller 6psi...Wastegate spring Tial 7psi max spring...Lets say I run wide open throttle up too 6rpms...And The Boost Controller decideds it wants to spike up.....Since the wastegate is set at 7psi max...And it spikes will it go over this setting spring of 7psi....Or run open 7psi? Sry weird question..But could'nt really search this one...Thanks in advance..

You obviously don't understand how a wastegate works... If you have a 7psi wastegate - It will make at LEAST 7psi. With a boost controller you can only increase pressure over the wastegate setting - not decrease.
