We'd need a link...

I'd recommend a GT2871 (56 trim comp housing) or a GT3071 for a RB20 for that power level... ~.6x AR

a GT28RS would be a bit too small for an RB20, i'd go with something towards a 30 series.

gt28r is a crappy turbo, its not the greatest thing since sliced bread that SCC made it out to be, its terribly inefficent and the only reason it 'spools fast' is because its surging.a good t3/t4 will make that kind of power or if you have the cash flow a gt 30 series turbo might another choice.

GT28R and RS ("disco potato" that SCC did the article on) are different turbos, just FYI. The off-the-shelf GT28R is closest to S14/T15 T28's and the RS is the potato, and it sucks.

Oh, and I assume you know you'd have to get a new manifold with a T2(5) flange or an adapter, that you hope still allows clearance.

The GT28R is a great turbo, but 300whp is pushing it a bit hard for my likes. I think a GT2530 might be a better option and is available with a T3 flange, but still has the super neato cool "GT."

Whatever carl... RB's don't blow HG's!

Really though... It all comes down to the purpose of your car. Mine's a fully caged anti-caddy... so I can do what I want as long as it's good for me on a circuit... if you have a stock motor, use the money to update some reliablility parts instead of a turbo. If you've already done all of that... well then... buy a turbo (I'd still recommend a really good suspension/tires setup first... but that's just me)
