I was just curious as to how many of you out there are running the Garrett GT2871R dual ball bearing turbo in your SR's. This is the turbo that i've been saving up to get and i was hoping to get some feedback from you guys. How do you like it? About how much power do you put down after the install? I know it says that its bolt on but from what i've heard you still need to maybe do some customizing to the hot pipe. Is this true? And at about what rpm does the turbo reach full boost??? Thanks a lot guys...

That turbine is a good choice if your looking to get around 380ps from it. Its pretty much bolt on but yea you may need new piping made and different water lines may be needed. With 550cc inj, z32 maf, fpr, head gasket and good tuning, youll reach 380 easy. Its a good turbine!! Try looking at the GT-RS. You can get 415 from that. Its bolt on also.

i have a GT-RS version of the GT2871R, just sitting at the house right now waiting to be installed with everything else. i hope to push it to its max with everthing else i have.(crossing my fingers)as far as bot on, i was told that the GT-RS version is a strait drop in, i'm gonna have to get a hotpipe made anyway so its not really a problem for me.
