just curious of if the garrett gt17 is worth putting on my 240 or is it more trouble than what its worth

No fkin idea. Because its a GT series turbo it was most likely made for custom apps mainly, drag bikes, ect.

actually the turbo is off of a 2.0 liter saab motor from mid to late 90's but what i find strange is that the intake side is .53 so thats why i asked if it would be worth while on my 240

Sh*t, thats too small for a drag bike. One of my old riding buddies had a hayabusa with a 35r on it.
