garret GT30R on rb25det?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

i have a 2000 skyline 25GT-T and i wanted to know if the GT30R would be a good turbo upgrade for around 400 hp i have apexi power fc hks evc4, nismo 480cc inyectors ans nismo fuel pump.

yeah get a .86ar exhaust side and call it a day, you will wonder where your tires went.

Here ya go bud... just input 2.5L instead of the 2L up at the top and look at the compressor map I know http://www.atpturbo.com has it

u say gt3076R is to small for the rb25det? im talking at 7000 rpm with no camshafts, i think maybe gt35r will be to much lag to what i want. i need quick spool up and hp at the same time thats what a asked gt3076r

GT30R, I only said GT35R because it's a great turbo, but on a 2.5L the 30R will be able to make huge power, but spool to full boost by 3500.

ok i agree gt35R would be much better to get more hp and much lower 1/4 mile times but here in peru theres alot of mountain passes and the car would be more fun to drive with torque at low rpm.

If you look @ the compressor maps for the 2 turbos. The lay is going to be rather similar depending on the back housing of the turbo. I would go with a GT35R and go witha .69 back housing. You will get wonderful responce, and your lag will not be bad at all.

ur probably right but besides the price difference i think ill try with the gt30r thanks anyway.
