I have a new 2008 Versa Sedan. Does anyone have any ideas on where to put the garage door opener? The drivers visor is way to thick for the metal mounting clip on the opener....

Mine is in my armrest. Its clip was broken and lost long before I bought the house. Fits quite nicely with my bluetooth headseat, a mini pack of kleenex, and a tin of mints.

I have mine in the same place because my sunglasses don't fit there. I just hate how it rattles when I'm listening to the stereo, but it kept popping off of the visor so this is the easiest place to access it.

The clip on my garage door opener is HUGE...so it fits just fine on that ridiculously thick visor.

What's the deal with the visor anyway? It is rather large?

My 2007 SL came factory-equipped with a color-matching elastic sock around the visor that holds my (small) opener completely out of sight. Check to see if you have one, if so, see if the metal clip on your opener is removable.

Thats the same place I keep mine. Out of sight and easily reachable. And as for the size of the visor....I commented on that some time ago. These things are freakishly huge.

I'm a little disappointed that Nissan didn't include the Homelink system on the Versa.

I know, I know, they were keeping costs down on an economy car, but heck, it does have Bluetooth, TPMS, I-key, and plenty of other features once deemed too 'costly' for this segment. Nissans going back over 10 years have had Homelink...should be standard equipment.

Oh well...that's about the only feature omission I can really gripe about.
