***Gangster wheel fitment help***

I just picked up a 2001 maxima se with only 42k miles. im looking to pick up some wheels but im looking for a staggered setup with as much dish as possible. Ive been searching around but cant really find any VIP ish maximas. The dealer is saying the biggest that will fit are 18 x 8 + 40 offset. lets see some photos with wheel specs and suspension info.

the dealer can just SHUT UP...b/c u can fit a a 20x10 w/ 40-42mm offset in the rear, and up to a 19x9 in the front with 35-40 offset. u are able to fit 20's all around. i too am searching for a staggard setup, but am running into a small setback with the 13" Stillen Racing Brake upgrade.

it all depends on your current and future suspension upgrades. are you thinking of upgrades?

Yeah the car is a daily driver so probably not much in the suspension dept. Sprint springs and some tokico blues should do it. The wheels I was looking at are the TSW Estoril in 19x9 + 22 in the rear and maybe the 19x8 +40 in the front. The sprints lower the car just under 2 inches so im wondering if the fitment will be alright. I dont wanna waste money or time ordering the wheels just to be bummed if they look lame.

You will need a higher number offset for the rear b/c you have a larger lip to fit under the fender. The larger the lip, the higher the number...the higher the number, the more the rim gets sucked into the wheel well.

think of these numbers:

Rear 19x9.5" +40 up to +42 offsetFront 19x8" +30 offset

so a search on http://www.maxima.org for 19x9.5 rims. see what u come up with!!
