All you need is the rom (the game file) and the right emulator for it usually... in some cases you need a bios file (basicly a file that is what would normally be on a chip in the system its self)

What system was the game originally for?

FinalBurn Alpha isn't the most user friendly Neo Geo emulator. I don't even remember how I used it before when it still was FinalBurn.

check out google and try to find out a FAQ for it, should tell you how to play the Roms with it

It looks like its for "MC68000/Z80 based arcade games" I guess they are the roms that arcade machines used to run. either search up on those, find out what you need, and find a better one...Or just read some FAQ's on FBA. Can't be THAT hard.

If they're cabinet arcade games, just google MAME.

I had Pokemon Ruby with over 100 hours....let my 8 year old borrow it. Now I lost 100 hours

Just buy an old Gameboy if you want to play Pokemon. You do get attatched to the little critters.

Yup.

Down time at work is much less boring now.

I forgot how many awesome RPGs there were for the SNES.

Depends on what machine you're trying to run these emulators.

These are the ones I use:

FCE Ultra (NES)ZSNES (SNES)DGen (Sega Genesis)MAME (Arcade)MAKAW (Sega Game Gear)BGB (Game Boy)

These will run on Microsoft Windows XP & Windows Vista. Just make sure you have a lot of memory & a decent processor. I run these on a Dell Latitude D505 laptop with a 1.6GHz processor & 1 GB of memory. They are smooth as butter, except for the Game Gear emulator. I think it requires 2 GBs of RAM.

Do a Google search & I'm sure you find the right one. Just make sure your antivirus program is up to date. Some ROM files have viruses in them, depending on where you get them. (I learned this the hard way when downloading the Final Fantasy 3 ROM. FTL.)

lol, thanks for trying but you gotta pay better attention. You give that whole list, but he needed on for MC68000/Z80 based arcade games and you didn't even include that.

Yeah as has been previously mentioned MAME is what you need. FWIW, I'm all for emulation for most games but Marvel vs. Capcom has to be played on the Dreamcast with the arcade joystick. There's just no substitute. Air Hyper Viper pwns my face.

There used to be a lot of sites, but they've been pulled down more and more lately. It's probably because a lot of the consoles have legitimate emulation now.

emuparadise.org had always been my first stop for emulation but now that I have mobile bit torrent on my phone that I can save the games to my microsd and play right there or DS games on my DS I usually go that route.
