Morning Yall,

The story is I was trying to adjust my coilovers this weekend, 3 of them were fine, but 1 is frozen. They are the Stance AL+Pro's so they are an alum shock body with a steel lower bracket. I have been spraying PB oil ontop of the threads for a couple days, and will continue to until I have time to work on it again (next weekend). My question is, does anyone know of any product that will break down or losen this corrosion any better than PB?

Thanks,

Bryan

Use Seafoam deep creep, or Kroil. They work a billion times better than PB blaster.

Front coil is still frozen. I put it in a vice and kept spraying oil into the threads and tapping it with a mallet to try and get it a tad deeper, no love. Tried heat as well, but that yielded zero results.

I decided to just leave it at current height and then when the time comes, just replace both dampers and get a new bracket.

Next time much more anti-seize

Thanks though for the reply.

Bryan
