thanx for telling the douch bout the other meet place..BlackZenki82 wrote:so i went ahead and called the GPD and the ASCO... i asked about the Ale House meets, and both agencies transferred me to "the guy in charge" once connected, i told him "SUCK MY DI-OCK BI-OTCH!!!" and hung up...
hey, screw the ale house anyways, honda con is for wussies.... the parking garage is where it's at... no burnouts allowed, good cars, basically tends to be the somewhat cream of the automotive crop in gainesville... level three i beleive? THURSDAY THURSDAY THUUUUURSDAYYY!!! BE THERE!!!for real though, i kinda miss going to the Ale House meets (pre house arrest), even though it was a Honda fest on the albertsons side of the lot, it was still fun as being the only mass gathering of cars in gainesville... not to mention the racing after wards, got a few notches on my belt from those.. either way, it was fun to watch the hispanics, the white wanna be hispanics with thier flat brimmed baseball caps broke way off to the side, shorts dropped to thier ankles, in the Honda get retarded, and hope one crashed with thier silly burn outs...
maybe when i get off the HA in a few months, there'll be a decent meeting place, plus, by then, my car should be pretty much finished... and i can get a few more notches on my belt...
That's defiantly as far from the truth as possible. I've worked at Publix for the past year and I have never had any managers talk down to me. I don't know what store she worked for but I've been at Haile, and have been at the new store for the past two weeks and all the managers are awesome. Of course there are a few who have their days, but for the most part if you don't f*** around then they don't bother you. I don't have a single bad thing to say about the place to be honest.7anshin8r wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if Publix had a big hand in this also. My wife used to work at a Publix here in town. She eventually quit because the managers treat the employees as if they are gods shouting down on their employees at the bottom of the pyramid. The put her through so much before she quit, and I had my simple revenge.
I would watch out though if ever eating food from one. The management is putting out food they know is not sanitary, or has been contaminated in some way. They also make the sick, who are told by management they can't be there working on food come in anyway and cough and gag on your food. But yeah the management are ***hole unless you are trying to buy something and they covet their lots like they are their own United Publix Emirate.
My wife word at the 13th and 39th store for over two years. They treated her like s***. But I'm not really complaining about the managers being ***holes, that is common no matter what job you have. I'm just trying to be nice and give you a heads up. That is all. I can make a list of the health violations they make in that store every single day. My wife worked hard and was great at her job, she couldn't take being pushed around anymore so when we warned them they were making a mistake they did not listen. One lawsuit later and they happily paid to keep it from going to court, as publix does on many occasions. Google publix lawsuit and see how many come up. But yeah, the Haile store is a totally different world from the 13th street store, I agree on that part.JRex wrote:That's defiantly as far from the truth as possible. yea, the pics on enjukugirls.com are really crappy because i took them myself on my point and shoot camera with a 10 second timer.. haha. I only accepted the HIN thing cuz i was getting paid and i wanted to go for free. lol. I need to get some better pictures taken and I've been trying to arrange some shoots with some photog friends so I should get some better pics soon.7anshin8r wrote:You know Kelsey, I don't really know you but you should take your own photographer to the shows. It will really help. This is from one photographer to a model. I'm sure most would go just to get into HIN without having to pay, and some would do it just for a ride. Just pick someone you can feel good and comfortable with. Just advice, I know it was not asked for and I should probably shut my mouth.
Your pictures look great, you just need someone to take some really good ones at shows.
