I was going for a more mellow sound.I don't like the straight pipe anymore. Plus it smells weird.

Do you know if I could get similar sound quality with a resonated straight pipe?

I hear ya man. I've got a 3'' w/ test pipe and it's just f***ing old.

Going back to stock exhaust for sure, cat and all.

damn 3" on a stock ka is too much. lol jk I have 2.5 and it can bother me at times. Ive thought about getting a silencer for it just for cruising around town plus it will help the low end torque.

Did you know you can cram over 150lbs of scrap steel + 1 radiator in the trunk of an s14? Also, if you go to the scrap yard you can pull your car onto the scale for free...

BTW, I was at taco bell the other day and a red chuki hatch with chrome wheels and a park bench bolted on the hatch. Who was it? Fess up.

It just looks extra high there because all the weight is on the other side of the car. I'm definitely not slammed, but I'm not super high either. Its a pretty comfortable height and I still scrape on some speed bumps. Besides, my dad wont let me go any lower...

Jebus... The names keep getting more complicated and longer...

Welcome $eeHawk66reds13hatch-kat, I'm not sure if anything is worth driving up here here for. The usual stuff that goes on in most towns. I'm pretty sure everyone goes someplace else to have any fun as it is. I know I do.

Tell us a little about your car, from your name I take it you have a red s13 hatchback with a kat? SOHC or DOHC? Is your motor built or boosted stock? I'm just curious.

Thats really wierd because I almost backed into you around that same time. At SFC, haha. Its like we all live in the same little town and go to the same schools or something?!?!!!!!!! I don't think I've ever seen anyone around but Carlos, though.

Guys (and girl), I need your opinion.

I'm seriously considering leaving s-chassis all together and getting a Q45 (Y33).

I don't know. I'm torn. I'd be shooting for something along these lines.

Whadda' ya think? Be honest, I can take it.

Dayyyumm. Doin' it big.

I've been cruising the VIP forums. For pretty much any good looking VIP style wheels you've gotta blow ~$2,000, used...

EDIT: Just went on the Work website. Jesus, the new (for 09') Equips are absolutely atrocious.

I've always wanted a q45...or a Ls400. Both look so sick when slammed.

Wanna know what's really cool? S13 suspension into a Y33 Q45 is like 80% plug and play.

If you want a Q45, I'd say go for it, as long as you dont mind driving a boat around everyday haha
