Now they are telling me 215's wont fit the s14 I have to get 205's... If all I can put on them is 205's I keep the wheels I have. They say it would be too wide by the guide book and not allow me enough turning clearance. I'm about to give up.

The best price I can get tires mounted and balanced for 215/45/17's is about $410, or I can get a set of four for $265 (including shipping) from... sigh... ebay...

Time for herbal relaxation...

Who is they? If your still interested in my wheels, I can bring the other one up and you can put them on and see if they rub.

dude i dont think they will rub. i have 245/45r/18s in the front and 265/45r/18s in the rear and i only rub the plastic liner inside the fender in the front. oh and im pretty sure thats because im lowered about 2 inches.

as for tires look for some used rubber on craigslist. i find good deals all the time on there.

They are some random tire shop I stopped by in the rain today when I was on Main St. (I think). The woman behind the counter was dead set on going by the book she had. I don't think they will rub but a test would not hurt.

I'm looking at two set's now so I have to decide. I'll email you.

^^^dumpsters.

Josh---215's will fit on the s14. that lady is dumb. 205 the recommended tire width for the stock SE wheel. 215 isnt even that wide.

Jacksonville Lionheart person--- I dont know where they are. I think BlackZenki knows some guys up there. I dont know. go on craigslist and look at the ads from people from jacksonville and contact them and ask them about meets or something. Or, I think there are some jacksonville people on floridadrift.com. but that site is kinda slow now.. so yea. good luck I guess

you guys missed the most epic drift even of all time!!!

BZ was hitting 60mph 3rd gear entries in a hairpin sweeper, linking the whole course at the Tropicana Field parking lot...

seriously serious business... this event was HISTORIC!!!

oh, and i got rod knock, so i might be parting out/selling the black car... motor started knocking a little bit around 2:30, so o packed up 5 hours early and left... DAMNIT!!!

seriously, this was an event, to rule them all, absolutely amazing, i got HOURS of seat time, in just the first half of the event! professional instructors.... ugh, can't wait for the next one!!! well worth EVERY PENNY even though i had to leave early... FTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

so far the roumor is april/may for the next one... hopefully i'll have my set up done by then, or have the GTR drift ready... it already looks like i'll be sliding the skyrine at desoto on the 21st now that the black car is down for a while...

if any of you got rod knock doing the kind of driving i was doing, and in the environment i was doing it in, you wouldn't be all that butthurt either, i mean it sucks, but it is what it is ya know? at least the motor went out doing something awesome hahah, and not racing some honda or some ish... no better way for a SR to die IMHO.

hell, KA's blow up just sitting at red lights!! (hehehe had to throw that in there for the KA guys)

240sx.net is a Jax based forum. Unless things have changed, you must be cruxsing the wrong parts of town.
