well i dont have a 240 so i can say that i like the ls1 sound better than a kadet or a srdet... love the sound of the all motor power..

I just know I need more power! Any of those would work, it has to be better than my stock KA... I keep trying to squeeze blood from a rock, but it just isn't getting any faster by will alone... I'm thinking it faster every day but it just stays slow...

well dam props for tyhe 240 crew, we had like 5 240s out the (even though it was raining) we were the only ones in the ale house lot, besides a dumb @ss in a fu$kstang who i about slapped for trying to spray paint his bumper next to my car while it was raining, a true ford owner.

ne ways thanks to everyone out there that stood out in the rain for the 20 or 30 min we were there! props!

I'm not sure though, having some kind of weird problem. Car will let loose in first but second, and more third and fourth are almost feeling restricted or bogged down through 3000 RPM until it gets to 4000 RPM. After it hits 4000 RPM you can feel the bog go away and it kind of bumps up faster and smoother. It's strange. I'm kinda worried because I know the way my car feels and I know when it is not feeling right... and something just doesn't feel right.

It's almost like turbo lag but much less of a kick at the end. GRRRRR! Getting on my nerves. Bogged too much to pass a beat up olds that was screwing with me, made me feel like I was representing my car badly. Don't worry I made up for it with total anger! lol

Tom, give me a call sometime, maybe I can stop by your place. I need to get that $20 to you anyway. I would love it if you can take a short ride down the road with me, let me know what you think it might be, your better at figuring this out than I am for sure!

It's almost feels like a clogged/restricted cat. but I have a test pipe so that shouldn't be it... I also started noticing this kind of high pitch jiggling chain sound at low speeds, especially when the car is cold. But that seems to be coming from the rear... Wonder if I blew a strut already? If so I can send it back, still under warranty.

Damn Tom, when did you do the GTR front end conversion? That was fast! My night didn't go that well, had to leave real soon after I got there. Didn't get to see the conversion.

lol thanks, yea ive got a rb, just stripped off 4th gear 2 nights ago, so i decided to pull the motor out of the bay as well and clean some things up, ive got 2 other rb25 trannys and 3 rb26 trannys lying around so parts wount be the issue, only time

thankks for the comment on the front end, a guy in tampa was in dire need of cash so he sold me the bumper both fenders, hood 2 gtr lights and 2 hid kits (10k and 5k) for 200 bucks, i used 40 in gas in my durango so figure i have about 240.00 in the entire front end conversion, and it allowed me to ditch the heavy metal s13 hood also, so it helped out on weight as well

so who all is going either to the track tonight or to the meet tommorow night?

lol, bad news, i worked for a few hours on my transmission last night and i only got the shift fork off the spare rb26 transmission, got the casing split on my rb25 transmission to inspect wtf happened, figured it was the 4th gear fork that broke in half, hopefully if i get free time today ill reinstall it in to its home

if its not done ill be in a blue 74 nova w blk stripes if ne one wants to chill
