I study the back of it. Bumper, no exhaust?, decently fitting wheels. Pull up along side to check it out. Z brakes, nice, lots of gauges across the dash. I think man this thing better be boosted to warrant those gauges.

Continue slowly creeping forward, very feminine hands on the steering wheel.

"Hmmm, it's a chick."

Come up alongside...

Hey I know that chick, it's Kelsey!

...so then I waved at her for like 5 minutes while she kept wondering who the f*** I was and what I wanted.

Yeah. Good story.

And she didn't wave back once, how rude!
Haha. I was so creeped out. I had no idea who you were since you had a helmet on and I couldnt see your face at all. lol. Once you lifted the visor thing I was like "ohhh!!! heyyyy!!" lol. and I did wave! when I took the turn pike and you stayed on I75 I waved bye!

and, its not boosted yet just so you know. haha. I'll be swappin the sr in there once I finish cleanin it up. and with that will come a new exhaust.

but yea, the meet was good. It was nice seeing people.

And Tom, I felt like you were ignoring me when I tried to go up and talk to you, soo, i gave up.

megan streets are actually pretty decent for the price so i dont know what your "blahing" about. Other coilovers of similar in price or some that are even more expensive arent as good of quality. A lot of people i know have them and really like them and they hold up really well.

Yeah, I actually don't mind them. They do what I need them to do, and I didn't have to cut my springs *cough* Jimmy *cough* haha.

The only thing I realy don't like about em' is the fact that Megan doesn't offer any kind of rebuild service. If they blow or start leaking or w/e I'm s*** outta luck, wheras if I had a set of Stance's or PBMs or something, I could get em' rebuilt for, what is it like, $200-$250 a coil?

Sup broha.

Might be coming back to Gainesville? Tight. You won't be the only red hatch with an LS1 though.

a friend had them on his coupe and the two rear struts started leakin and megan racing would not get bk to him, your rite there good for the price (till they leak) then youll start wishing you bought basics or from a company that will repair them for a reasonable price...'

i had my s13 basics re-valved for the gts-t for 125 from tein, thats damm cheap

Yea I am thinking about just going with Tein basic's or something. Cause I know mine will eventually blow out from being so low.

Nahhh. Being low doesn't make your coils 'blow out' any quicker. As long as you're not adjusting preload, you're just moving the lower perch up the dampner body.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if your gonna get teins, don't go with their cheapest entry level coil (Basic or street or w/e). From what I've heard the spring rates are weak and it's barely an improvement over stock.

...But I thought you were selling the hatch? Que?

you can have the spring rate different, thats why i opted for the r32 gts-t spring rate and valving....

By lowering your car your putting more load on the shocks, which shortens the life of them. Unless you have the world's stiffest spring or most badass shocks. lol

Hmmm. Realy? Never heard that before.

Not saying you're wrong, but could you link me to somewhere that explains how this works? Seems to me that you've still got the same supported weight, weight distribution between shocks, and suspension travel... Unless it has something to do with altering the geometry or something...

Thank you for that help Tom, you always do great work. The car seems to be running a bit smoother now and it's nice to finally wipe that little debt away. Like I said I hate to owe anyone anything.
