don't settle. get the color you want or you might regret it later on.yutubemedia wrote:Im litterally about to buy my car, And i wanted a WHITE Base Model 2.5S Altima coupe, Automatic Transmission,
but all the 2011 White Coupes are gone. So its either a base Model white 2012 Coupe, or A Fully loaded 2011 coupe of a DIFFERENT color, such as Dark Slate. I know it seems obvious to just get a different color, but I was really wanting a white one to go with my black rims and really like white. So Idk what to do,
2012 BASE White Coupe
OR
2011 (premium+ Convenience package) Other color Coupe.
Because these were the rims I was going to get with my WHITE coupe: http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wheel ... n=Standard

Probably the single WORST thing you can do to a new car's resale value.
Kind of a dumb idea.
If you can't find the car you want in the color you want, you're not looking very hard. Do a nationwide search - you can ship a car cross-country for a grand. Hell, MY local dealer says he can get it for you, no problem.

Paint job costs around $3,000. But please do not settle. Settling with respect to your car always comes back to haunt you. If you think premium package > exterior color then get it.

imo the way nissan has their packages set up is strange, especially now that very good quality aftermarket options are very competitively priced. Like you have to spend a couple extra grand and you HAVE to have certain packages before you qualify for the tech package.

I MIGHT factor in car color if I ALREADY had a real set waiting.
BBS RS GT or RGR
Work vs-xx
Others I'm sure, the style is reproduced a lot.
Your dealer sucks. All of them.yutubemedia wrote:Yeah, the thing is there are none left in California. I spoke with 7 different dealers today (yes 7) all said they are out and couldnt find any in Cali, except one said they could only find 3. The problem is the shipping cost to. it might be more than $1k. What dealer is yours? Id like to contact them maby they can ship one down.
oh really, yeah see none of them offered out of state, they all were searching in california, so i figured there wouldn't be much anything else. Its hard though cause im looking specifically for a White, 2011, CVT Trans, Coupe. (2012 is fine its just the higher price issue) So not sure if you know if they have that or not. And if they do, It'd have to be in my price range depending on the packages. But hey if they do, Id be glad to check it out!!AZhitman wrote:Your dealer sucks. And I ship cars all over the country, I know how much it costs.
I will PM you the dealer info. We're one state away. If your dealer isn't an idiot, he can get the car from AZ for nothing.

This too though. I buy wheels for a car, not a car for wheels.alphapig wrote:But why are you choosing car color, and losing value over it, for a set of knockoff wheels?

I told him I wanted the blue, he did a search within 100-200 miles and found me 3 blue coupes with different packages, all from the same dealer 75 miles away. I picked the one I wanted and it was delivered within 3 days. My dealership drove a car that the other dealership wanted from their lot and they met halfway and traded. My dealer went a little out of his way because I was a returning customer. BTW, the black coupe was fully loaded and had a 6 speed, their was not an option left off. It was a rare AC at the time and very tempting
