Long story short, I did an Sr swap, it crapped out so I put the Ka back in so I could drive my car.
When I took the Ka out I only unplugged what was necessary to get the engine out and I pulled the harness out of the firewall with it. Likewise when I put the engine back in, I plugged everything back up, and rant he eccs (ecu) harness back through the firewall just like before. The engine literally came out of the car, sat on a pallet for 2 weeks covered up, and went back in. Nothing was touched other than the water temp sender and I replaced that.

My problem is that my water temp, tach, and speedo (as well as cruise control) do not work now.
I've gone through the FSM a hundred times and can't seem to find anything out of place between my harness and the diagrams in there.

Does anyone know why my gauges worked with the Sr swap but don't with my stock Ka!?

Did you plug the small harness the goes from the ECU up into the dash harness back in? That's about all I can think of.

The F3 plug?
The one that has the little clamp thing on it?
