this is what i wrote in the thread above, so i coped and pasted it. i need help, i have to have this car running by next monday, and it is really starting to tick me off. help help help please!

so yesterday, i was almost positive that once i reset the timing the car would fire up just fine. i popped the valve cover, hand cranked it, lined the the dots, lined up the cam angle sensor, and everything was good. hooked up power to the bung battery + the battery charger, cranked it over for like 15 minutes, "----in hell". so i knew from yesterday that i was getting fuel, because one of the guys pulled off the fuel line and sprayed gas everywhere (great), and we pulled the spark plug and it was wet (i didnt smell it, but it felt gas-y, not oil). so, we pulled the fuel injector harness and held the test light to that, and under cranking, the light didnt pulse. so, i thought "lets see the injectors arent pulsing. either they dont have power or no signal from ecu." so i checked the ecu, and i was getting power to all injectors. to triple check, when i turned to key to on, another guy said he could hear the hum from the fuel pump in the back (i couldnt hear it, but hes a mechanic). so then, after spilling battery acid all over myself, i look underneath and see oil practically gushing out after every crank. well theres the reason for my low oil pressure. i traced it, and found that my oil filter was leaking. some stupid japanese guy had installed some sort of aftermarket adaptor, but in a show of even more stupidity, i realize that when i went to change the oil filter (with a 91 sentra peice), i didnt check to see if any old gaskets were still on it. in anycase, i probably double gasketed it, and the oil filter is stuck on.

i also dont have any grounds from the engine to the body. could that be a problem? ill hit up shucks and get a grounding strap tomorrow, but what else could be wrong. got fuel (should have), got spark, sure have air. i need help, this is starting to drain the hell out of me!!!

add a grounding strap. if that does not work, make sure you lined the CAS up to the right mark. there are 2 dots on it and only one of them is right.
