GAB Sport JDM Coilovers and 5Zigen Exhaust

Hello. I'm going to be looking at a 1990 240SX Fastback on Thursday, and I want to buy it because it's a fastback (I prefer this body style to the coupe). The seller wants $2,000 for it. However, she said that she has already installed a set of GAB Sport JDM coilovers and a 5Zigen exhaust. Does anyone know about these aftermarket parts, and is $2,000 a good price for this car? It's a 5 speed and runs great according to the seller. It's got 203K miles on it, but she said the engine was recently tuned.

Well as long as the coilovers are still in good condition, and the car looks decent and runs well, then I would say that is a great deal. Coilovers alone cost about 1k. Be aware that the car has probably been driven very hard because anyone buying coilovers for a street car is not interested in the commute alone. Have someone knowledgeable check it out, and if all looks good, jump on it.

Thanks. I'm going to have a good friend of mine come along. He has an MX5 (don't know the year) and though he's not a mechanic, is pretty well informed about cars. I'm hoping I can get the fleet mechanic from work to come along too. If not, I have another friend who knows cars that I can call up.I'll be sure to pay attention to the coilovers and how they ride when I test drive it.
