Just to let yal know, I'm in FL right now, and I still see a lot more Honda ricers compared to GA (where I see more 240's than riced up Honda cars--I guess they sold their Hondas for 240's).

My mom's friend's son has a Civic Sedan all riced up (stickers and neon lights all over with an extremely loud exhaust, etc.), and I was forced to ride in it, which made it my 1st time ever to ride in a riceburner. So, let me tell you guys this: it sux to be a ricer. He gets picked on everywhere he goes! I just keep my head out of the view when someone pulls up to us and flicks us off or whatever. What made it more interesting was he'd even attempted to race a girl in an Eclipse and some guy in a Mustang. Yeah they didn't even have to try, so they decided to just block him from changing lanes. Even worse, he thought his automatic was a manual, so he went from 1, 2, D3, D4. It was an interesting experience. Hehe.

Yeah, around here the rice is awful... I'm pretty sure there's actually more rice than STOCK imports...

I figured Alpharetta would be similar, as economically it's pretty even with PTC... on my few visits up there (debate tournaments) I've always seen some really nice cars (Porsches, etc) and a handful or ricers too...

Rice is just everywhere, lots & lots of Hondas in Ohio...and lots of Mustangs too, but I see more Mustangs here than in Ohio, which to me is like...refried beans. Yuck.

I'm in Orlando now. I was in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale the other day. But anyway....

His (the guy in FL) B series engine was so pathetic ahha. He slammed on the gas and it was still just as slow!

But nah, in Alpharetta, there arent many Hondas with neon lights and stickers and loud *** exhaust pipes. There are a ****load of 240's though. I chased an S14 down Mansell Rd. at 80mph the other week. Hmm I wonder if he's a NICO. His car was dark green...and that's about it haha; oh yeah, it's a base model with a stock exterior and stock exhaust pipe. That's all I could see and tell.

Peachtree City/Newnan really isn't that bad for rice. You guys should get out and travel more.

Peachtree city and Alpharetta are NOT economically equivalent. Peachtree City is largely "plastic" money, meaning credit...debt. My g/f works in one of the Krogers in PTC, and she says it's normal to have people come through the line and try 3 or 4 diff maxed-out credit cards just to buy $10 of groceries. Until last week, when my reserve unit got activated, I worked in PTC amongst a good cross section of white-collar ptc residents. Trust me, there isn't as much money here as you'd think. People in PTC delude themselves into thinking they have money, and live in an upscale town...when in reality, property values in PTC are dropping fast, the city government is broke, and the neighboring communities are rapidly outpacing them. Granted, some people in PTC really are loaded, but not nearly as many as Alpharetta; that's where the real rich people live. Anyways, enough on that rant. I'm not a fan of PTC, but I don't hate it as much of some of you do...though I can't quite figure out what you have against it.

There aRE a lot of Mexicans with 240sx's on Buford Hwy. I know someone who owns a Used Car dealership there and their 240's were being bought out right after they put them on display. They also have a 240-sr20det project in their garage.

weird...

I really dig the 4.6 Mod motor. They can make insane power with forced induction at low boost levels.

Several of those obscure supercars actually use them. And they sound killer with a nice exhaust:drooling

the V6 cars are rather boring, but I've found the 3.8 to be a sturdy motor, even with a supercharger on it.

I don't much care for the OHV 4.6 or 5.0's granted, there's a lot fast ones, there's just a lot of them too. I'd own one though and curse working on it as it's par with Ford producst.

I need a girl or small asian man to work on my car, 6 hours on plugs is too much.

Weapon of choice anything with 4 wheels. 1L-up! Also Sad to say there is a lot of Mexican own 240SXs!

Why does ethnic background have to come into this? I'm no PC buff but it is completly irrelevent to this conversation.

Yhe where I lvie, RICERS are almsot NON-existant, I mean I see a few here there ever once and awhile. But not as muhc as you guys see them. To tell you the truth, I ahve been seeing more ricers with body kits. But they are smart, they just roll around to look good, they don;t start trouble and they actaully have FULL exhaust and not that rattle can ****.
