All the luck to you but can you explain why you want a suspension built for a 2800-3000lb car on a 4000lb car? What is there to gain from this swap? Lowered stance? Seems it would be downgrading the ride quality. To avoid the wasted expenses and hassle why not get a great set of coil overs, adjustable arms, and rods/ends? If it has been done it will probably be on this site.... Good luck

suspension swaps over but the main hole on the strut down at th bottom is too small. you would have to bore it out about 1/8 inch. Thought about it myself but didnt have the means of opening that hole and it would be generally sketchy in my opionion. Our cars are very heavy and that hole opening wouldnt have a lot of structural integrity. I got my Q with springs that were professionally cut down and it rides pretty good. Just a bit bouncy on some roads at high speeds, cornering is really feathery though.

done it twice. never had an issue. probably wouldnt have done it on the Q if I had it to do over again but still no issues. lowered 2 inches in the front, 1.5 in the back.
