G50: TCS problems

I'm new to the forums and i just got a question for anyone that knows some things about G50's.I do all the work on my car and i've rebuilt my power steering rack,all the brakes,new struts etc. Anyways one morning my battery died and i got it jumped and it started, so im driving and my tcs works and it was snowing. then i shut the care off when i stopped at the store,i came out and my tcs off light was on but it was dim so i hit the button to see what happened and it got brighter,shortly after the slip and tcs off lights turned on for good. Everytime i start the car it does this same thing and it has been going on for some time. I replaced the relays and it did nothing,i looked at the fuse panel under the hood and the tcs fuse was blown so i replaced it and it blew again. one thing that is weird is that the tcs works when the light is dimmed but it only stays like that for a minute. Sorry for the long paragraph but i dont know any other way to explain it. any suugestions will be appreciated. btw its a 94 q45 base with tcsits turnin into a pita thanks anyone

TCS relay under the battery tray and/or

your battery is marginal and your alternator is getting ready to leave you stranded when it fails from constantly charging and/or not being maintained.

Welcome aboard and be sure to spend a couple hours each week reading Q45tech's posts. All of them. You will learn more than most dealer technicians know.

i have a new battery and if my alternator was bad i dont think it wouldve lasted this long,anyone think it's the tcs computer,i just think its weird that the tcs fuse blew and i put a new one in and it blew again. thanks anyone

I also have a problem with the TCS in my '94.... and I did the usual things like replace the two relays under the battery. I have started down the path of troubleshooting using the FSM, but haven't spent the needed time yet.

One thing you should check is to be sure that your ABS is still working. There are some conditions where the TCS lights come on, and the ABS is also disabled. In my case, the ABS is fine.

could be computer, but not 1st candidate. you say the slip/tcs off lights come on, but are dim? sounds like a soft short in system. do you hear the relays near abs unit when you turn key to 'on' but not start? can you hear the TCS pump prime up at the same time as you go ignition on?

Hi I was wondering if you could update me on what you have found. I am experiencing the identical symptoms. Light is dim and then brighter as the second slip light comes on. I have changed the relays with no joy. The computer is showing code 19. thx
