Well since everybody argues some say they suck because of people and some say they were alright until they failed ima try them.I'll take my risk.So anybody know what brand and if i should get 300zx ones or s14?let me know i really need the car dropped.Other than that if you still think it's a bad idea, which im kinda thinking but experimenting is what tells the truth, then just i dunno lol let me know thanks.

P.S.No i cant save up 1k right now or get springs because i wanna adjust the height.

I have been looking into sleeves also. I have put them in 3 of my old cars and they worked out great. One of the Shops I deal with plus worked for has done over 50 plus installs from skunk2, ground control, and tenzo. I was at Tuner Motorsports on Tuesday looking into different spring rates and lengths to put a set together using H&R springs and some sleeves i have. This is one of my old cars I did like 5 or 6 years ago. It had skunk2 sleeves and B&G springs and Koni struts. I had great luck with it. The setup it had the last year I drove it and when it was sold. Was factory springs and struts and skunk2 sleeves. It was that low and work real nice. Let me know if you have input on the Q45. I hope to have mine done. soon.

Shocks are a must... Tokicos are $250-290 + free shipping on ebay not bad at all.

Remember... when you lower it, the shocks are moving at a higher frequency and ride is awesome at first but it will blow, in one month.

Right now I'm riding with factory shocks, just over 50k miles on them on eibachs AND THEY BLEW... can't even burn out without the rear wheels bouncing off the ground

the tokicos just sit at my house waiting to be put on

I called ground control they said if the im for sure the S14/300zx ones would fit to just get the spring rate.ima do that think its a good idea?

The tokicos ima have too see since these sleeves are $400.I researched and saw that real coilovers sometimes are too bouncy or just not feel right so im guess the sleeves best way to go in this case i guess.I mean if its all gonna be around 600-700 for stuts and sleeves might as well buy real coilovers?

As far as sleeve length, I would think 300ZX would be the closest. Rear shocks are almost identical dimensions but the 300ZX shocks are a bit thicker than Q45 shocks. Front Z32 shocks are shorter and thicker than Q45 shocks.
