When I first got the Q, I had wanted to swap out the 90-93 seats for the 94-96's. Mainly for the seat warmers. Wes talked me out of it.ddrumman wrote:I was browsing and came up on these. They certainly don't look brand new, but I would take them over what I used to have for what they're asking.

They look a lot better than my current seats. I am in the Midwest, Indy as a matter of fact and my front seats are trashed. I use sheepskins to cover them but would prefer to see the leather.ddrumman wrote:They are located 90 miles from Indianapolis, 40 miles from Champaign, 170 from Chicago etc. When my seats were all screwed up I would have driven up to 150, 200 miles to get that kind of price.
I don't need them now. I just did my seats a few months ago and I'm very happy with the job. I just thought that someone in the Midwest could snap them.
Thanks for the heads up...........I got them for the asking price $69. I am going to have them shipped to me instead of picking them up as I had thought I would. Still at $110 shipped to me it is still desirable. If they are not exactly what I wanted they are an upgrade from what I had and give me a chance to shop around for the best deal to get other set reupol. while I am driving with a set that is workable.ddrumman wrote:I was browsing and came up on these. Just as I say that look what else popped up on ebay in {PERFECT SHAPE}http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...0.lVICINNALOCKS wrote:Thanks Mike...............I have been at it for a while. I hope they look like the picture......I was told they would be the very same. I thought about picking them up but with the price of gas a four hour plus round trip and the iffy weather now, why not let them send it?
Good going! I hope they work out until you get what you really want.CINNALOCKS wrote:

Not a lot of Q's in Indiana, if I were in Calif or even Chicago, I may have passed.
This is just one though.CINNALOCKS wrote:

These seats arrived a couple of days ago, on pallets. I am still recovering from a seven hour surgery so I cannot lift much. I did get a good look at them and I could see no tears or obvious signs of wear. I am pleased. Thanks for the heads up again. The forum and all the members pitching in to provide info on various experiences is a valuable aid.ddrumman wrote:I was browsing and came up on these. Glad it worked out for you so far, and I hope they serve you until you can get either new ones or have them reupholstered like I did.CINNALOCKS wrote:

They are still wrapped in plastic, like I said. Soft leather on a 15 yr old pair of seats that cost less than 100 bucks a piece, shipped? Come on, I mean it would be nice but soft is not my concern.Jesda wrote:Is the leather still soft? Thats always my biggest concern with used seats. The material could be in tact but hard as a rock from sitting in the sun, which would make it more prone to cracking and ripping.
I was never even aware of such a thing! That means that I probably missed out on a deal.goody94q45 wrote:It's been 30+ years since I lived in SoCal but can you still get a cheap one day upholstery job in Tijuana?
