I was messing around with MSpaint the other day and construed this together.

Just want to get a few opinions on it from other Q45 owners.

(Not on my editing skills. I already know they're poor.)

The rear is nice, since it looks like the MB W124, which I love. Not fond of the front which resembles the snout-nosed new Audis.

After seeing audtatious's chop job of the rear even I don't like it.

Guess I just won't be happy 'til I have an Impul President conversion sitting in the parking lot.

1st thing that comes to mind is a 300C. Not a bad thing IMO. I like it.

1st thing I thought of was the Y33 Cima bumpers, which are about 2" shorter each:

The front end looks like a Volvo S80 to me...

Don't like it at all. Just doesn't fit...there's nothing "Q" about it.

Interesting idea though.

I think maybe if the rear valance continued down lower, it may work. But as it stands it makes the rear look very empty.

Eh, it's OK... Seems to need lowering to make it look right.

The Q's overhangs really aren't too bad - Certainly not Grand Marquis territory.

Looks nice but if there was really a way to do it, I wouldn't substitute functionality for looks, especially when it comes to safety. Not to mention that the slightest fender bender would cau$e big damage. Nice chop job tho.

I was gonna screw this pulyester, fiber, or whateva, and go to a hot rod shop. Have them make a metal roll pan ie what we use to call a bumper! That is only if I can't find a cheap m45

You might want to retain a little bit of overhang if you pursue something like this... the Q actually does look nice when the front and rear bumpers are shortened a bit... basically like their JDM counterparts with the smaller bumper cores. you can get a decent idea of how it'd look in real life by just taking the bumpers off, and stepping back and looking at the car from like 20'... it looks very "stout"
