G50 Rear Seat Removal Tips?

I know I must be a complete lame a$$ but I can't get my rear bench out! My MB has the same pull tabs and the seat lifts out w/o any resistance but in my Q it's stuck fast. It's complicated by the fact that you can't get much leverage whilst holding the tabs.

What's the trick?

It is probably the soun deadening tar stuck to the seat frame. It just lifts out, once you pull the tabs..

Push down on the seat, then try pulling on the tabs at the same time.
