so putting in a QX4 steering wheel has been a bolt in affair, yes?

Is the diameter of the QX4 steering wheel any smaller?

the wheel does look smaller but ill confirm it tonight.

as far as bolt on yes and no.

the wheel itself bolted up with no modification other than the air bag line up pin. it had to be installed not center(over to the right). its not gonna make sense without pics or if youve had your wheel off before.

the cruise control cover and switch had to be cleverly mounted to look stock, because the bolts to hold down the airbag are in the way. need pics to show that as well. but it involves making a small bracket. if i remember correctly i just bent up and dremeled the old one to fit.

the plastic cover for the controls has to be dremeled as well.

well i havent gotten the internet hook up at my house yet. im using my computer at work. ill get some pics tonight and ... actually scratch that. i wont be removing my wheel so when it stops raining ill head out to the parts car and take pics from there. that will show what i mean by the air bag pin, and ill get more pics of the rest of it tomorrow!

This is AWESOME news, because I -love- smaller steering wheels. This is a mod I may strongly consider (after you post pics of course, nudge nudge ).

It is agreed then.... Otherwise I'll challenge you to a duel!

On a serious note, 3 jobs must be quite a burden. Take your time and just get around to it when you you can.

Thank you and I wish you a relaxing weekend.

im a forman for a construction company by day (530-430)

valet parker from 530-1130 or 200)

and have personal training clients on the side (any other second left in the day)!

i try to take entire sundays off but if the money is right ill be a workin!

but with all the work ive got lots of nice toys which make most of the work worth it!

i dont believe im working this sunday so that ll be the day for pics.

ill also include the trunk finishing panel ive blacked out since your looking. it came out really good. its glossy like a mirror!

and maybe my impul rear bumper that i fiberglassed in a duel exhaust port, if you want it of course!
