Don't brake the TC either and you will run faster, but you may need better tires if they are burninig out.

Heyhey, 96Q45taz! Way to show 'em! I'm SO tired of hearing about how the 96 is such a second-rate G50, 'cause of the lack of VVT. 15.9 is purdy darned fast, especially first time running it. Search for posts by another 96 owner, Fastlane. He also had surprisingly good results at the track. He turned in a 15.36 @ 92.47mph at Moroso, 01/19/05.

Yep people get hung up on 0.1 seconds and 10 HP.

I'll bet ecu moded exhaust moded 90 Q have a tough time bettering 14.8 without fresh engines/trannies/160 tread wear tires now.

Last time I tested my 305k [at around 280k] it was off by 0.2 second engine [rings] getting tired.

Welcome 96Q45taz, nice to see another local guy! Where is Speed World? Is that the one in the far west valley? Some day I'll have to get my '94 out to the strip. I need tires desperately tho. Dont' even like to get it on the freeway right now.
