Hey guys,

Just wondering what is involved in changing the rear (boot, taillights) of G50 Q45 to that of a G50 President. Is it simply a matter of purcahsing the President boot and lights and replacing, or is there more to it?

Thanks alot,
Brendon

It should be.. On the Q45 the center piece is seperate from the boot, whereas on the president its part of the boot... so like you said you'll need the boot and the lights and that should do it....

you need the bumper as well. some have done the conversion with the q45 spec bumper but it's not perfect.

Thanks for the info and pics guys. Very helpful.

BLACKonBLACK98: Thanks for that. How much "not perfect" is it? I will be wanting to put an AimGain rear bumper on and it appears they don't do the kit for President, only Q45.

Thanks again for the help!!

Did you get a price on the Aimgain bumper yet?

I haven't got exact price on the body kit because I am not doing this until the start of next year. They don't do a Euro edition bodykit for President, which is the only one they do for Q45. Will have to figure something out about that if the President bumper is needed.
The aimgain website has a price listing though if you want to know how much.

the problem with the rear bumper was towards the outer bottom edge of the tails. you could probably trim it to fit. i didn't take the time to line mine up, and haven't seen detailed pics of the ones who have used the q45 bumper, so i'm not sure exactly how the gap comes out. the aimgain kit is fiberglass so it will be easy to modify. complete kit cost will be close to $3k. sessions and auto couture also make similar looking president specific kits, but at similar prices.
