Today when I drove my car in the morning everything was as usual. Then when I took the car out the second time which was an hour and a half later, my car had no power steering, no speedometer, no odometer. I drove the car on the highwy for 20 minutes with no change. On the way back which was an hour later, the car was still the same. I took a picture:

Right after I took the picture within seconds, the speedometer, odometer and power steering kicked in! I took another picture:

And yeah the ACTIVE light is on, because I'm low on FLUID A once again. I was on an open road and decide to pull a top speed run , I wanted to check the different RPM levels at a few different speeds. I got one pic and had to call it quits, because I saw the and backed off the throttle just in time . Talk about lucky.

the fact that you lost both odometer and speedo seems to me like it might be the speedo sensor or the harness...

I bet itd throw a transmission code if it went poopy for a few minutes.

BTW, your car isnt running hot enough, you need to replace your Tstat (no wonder your getting crappy mileage).

The speed sensor was replaced by the PO I think 20,000 miles ago. I gotta double check the service records.

It did say TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION for about a minute and then went back to OK.

Mileage is real crappy and thermmotat is going to get replaced. Temperature was like 23°F.

Thanks!

Classic speed sensor problems... ditto on the thermostat. When mine was old the car would run noticeably cool in cold ambient weather. Warm-ups took longer too.
