Check your door sensor switches first, then trace back to the BCM.

Actually... before you even make it to the sensors...I'd make sure that your doors are actually latching tightly.

Try adjusting the door latch hook (on the door sil, not the door) so that the door shuts a bit more tightly. If you are still having trouble, then move on to your sensors.

I've fixed two "sensor" problems by simply adjusting the door to shut a bit more tightly.

At the risk of stating the obvious, you might also want to check that the interior light switch isn't turned on...

...or that the illumination switch on the left side of the instrument panel is not turned fully clockwise. But don't all of the interior lights go off by turning the illumination switch fully counterclockwise (to save your battery until you locate the problem)?

After that I would check each of the door switches one at a time by manually pushing each one with all the other doors shut. Seems to me that the door switches have a one wire connection and the ground is provided by the switch body contacting the metal door sill frame. Are all 4 switches screwed in tight and no corrosion present ? Good luck chasing the gremlins.

4-way fuse was out and a new battery remedied the problem. I found that that flashers are no longer working though what a pain

O.T. What is the radio in the dash photo? Looks like it has an in-dash CD. If so, does it use the Bose speakers without modification?

ThanksKen K
