I have looked at a number of G50's laterly since my base was wrecked by me......and my Active was broadsided by a teenager in the car wash, all within 60 days. (no luck with Q's lately) however, what I've seen have been a lot of cars with bad interiors. The thing is the cars that had bad interiors didn't have heated seats, however, the cars that I found with heated seats generally had good interiors. Did nissan do something different, or used better leather on cars with heated seats?? or, is this just my imigination?

Perhaps heated seats kept the material soft and pliable. Either way, the white and tan dyes made for crap leather.

I think my seats rae doing very well considering their life. For the last 4 years at least the car has been sitting outside with no tint.. tiny bit of cracking that hopefully leatherique wil fix.

Mine are perfect - No cracking, wear or loss of suppleness.

I think the ones with heated seats may have simply been taken better care of, as they're more likely to be fully optioned-out, more likely to be owned by "enthusiasts" and likely cost more originally.

Mine were doing great here in Arizona, then all of a sudden started to crack. Have heavy tinting. Seats are heated. Recently started to put a lot of leather magic on to soften them up, and that has definitly helped. Most likely will go over to sheep skin covers as an inexpensive attractive solution. Check-out Overland Sheepskin web site.

It's easier to get door panels than it is to get seats. You should be able to pick one up off ebay, or a junkyard. Are you talking the actual armrest on the door, or up higher near the glass? If it's the armrest you should have no problem finding something and entire door panels should not be too difficult to locate.

My leather is perfect except for the drivers seat and flip down armrest. The armrest is cracked and so is the seat with a tear that became a rip in the most common spot on the bolster.

I have a 94 Base Model that I will soon be parting out, that is after I find another active (94 or 95 only). After I know what the condition of the interior in my next active is. I will then, either sell, or swap out the interior of my base Q and sell the interior from the one I buy. This interior was only occupied by one person!! withe minimal wear on drivers seat.

insurance paid me $4500. after duductable. it needs hood, grill, lights and bumper cover. Air bag not deployed. It is my preference to have a Q 94-95 that has nad no paint work (hard to duplicate infiniti paint). Presently, Im in the mindset to find another active suspension 94-95 only and trade interiors if Ihave to and sell whats left

Honestly I think youd be better off trying to fix yours.. I odnt know if you still can from insurance purposes... But it doesnt sound like it needs a lot, and I guarntee there are many good body shops that could make it look really good!

Honestly, my wife claims that Im fanitical when it comes to cars. my attitude is regardless to how good the repair paint work is, it will never match the entire car. I think I've decided to wait for the right Q with active suspension 94-95 only! She thinks I should buy a new one and keep it forever..... thats a lot of money sitting on four tires with little capital retention. Thats what makes the 94-95 so attractive, they're fantastic cars for half the cost of a Lexus, which IMHO, not quite the car a Q45 is. Personally I feel that if Nissan had another ad agency when they launched the Early Q's, things might very well be different. Time will tell. I've enclosed some pic's let me know what you think. The cracking is on the door high up beside the glass. I find it unusual because I cannot remember seeing this on another car but I did see it on another Q. I will check local scrap yards for a black one. Does anyone know if door panels are year specific (Mine is a '95).

Detroit - Dibs on the door panels if you part it out!

What an awesome color - Rare indeed.
