G50: Interior color codes?

codes for interior (last edit 17Mar07 0510Z):1994-96 P= Beige (Tan)R=TaupeW= Grey

??=Black??=White

Grey dropped after 1994.

1990-93A=MaroonC=Brown (Chocolate/Tan)??=Shamu??='Raiders' (Blk/Grey)??=Blue

Isn't P the beige?

Look up a few known ones with their VIN, or even pair known interior colors to exterior paint codes.

My 94Q is KKO W. Anthracite gray exterior (KKO) and gray interior (W). We have the same gray interior.

The 91Q that I parted out was KH1 C. Ivory Quartz exterior (KH1) and a tan on chocolate brown interior (C).

I didn't write down the codes on the 90Q (desert sand/maroon) but I'll check her out at work tomorrow.

From a previous post by I think Wes (which I can't find) on a 90-93Q the C trim code is beige (tan?) interior and on a 94-96Q the P trim code is beige (tan?) interior. I'm also curious what the other paint/trim codes are. I'm sure others will tell us theirs so we can fill in the blanks.

Dark Blue Pearl Clearcoat BM1 Beige Pebble Metallic Clearcoat CG2 Dark Green Pearl Clearcoat DJ2 Ivory Quartz Tri-Coat Pearl KH1 Black Obsidian Clearcoat KH3 Beige Sand Pearl Clearcoat KJ1 Silver Crystal Metallic Clearcoat KL0 Silver Amethyst Metallic Clearcoat LP0 Dark Red Purple Metallic Clearcoat LP2 White Platinum Tri-coat Pearl QN0

Not sure about interior. What I would like is a number breakdown by year to see how many of each where produced

I checked the 90Q that I sold. Code is KJ1 A.

KJ1= Beige Sand Pearl A= Maroon

The maroon interior is very nice. Like the blue interior, you have to see it to appreciate it.

Stealthy: i take this to mean that YOU have a mulberry frost '94? That would mean that you have the very rare 'taupe' interior, by my color chart. Pleae, do look at your firewall plate (near the master cylinder), and tell us what the code is. It will be the 'trim' code, a single alpha character following the LM0 paint code.

This thread has a good title for future searches so this seems like a good place to post the color combo chart from an Infiniti brochure that I bought off e-bay. I did some cutting and pasting to get it to fit on one page and had to manually fill in the dots since they faded out in the process.

This chart should work for the 94-96 but the 90-93 combinations will be different since you don't see burgandy or blue interiors on the list. I'm still curious what the remaining trim codes are. Take a minute to look at your nameplates and post up.

That's not all of the 1994-1996 color codes.

Each year has a TSB with the paint codes. Interior color matches are not included.

I bought the brochure as representing the 94 model year so you are correct in that it may not be 100% accurate for 95-96. Some of the interior and exterior colors were retained from the 90-93 lineup and some were dropped.

And don't respond without posting the codes from your two G50's.

DJ2 and CG2 (Beige Pebble Metallic) both P (beige ) interiors.

Where ** = New Color for Model Year and * = New color for model

Paint Types:

1994 Paint Code are in ITB93-051 and there are quite a few differences.

Anyone know the interior trim code for white (or any of the other missing colors from Jay's first post)?
