I am not talking about the control motor. But does the shuttle valve itself tend to wear out?Can you get a replacement valve without replacing the whole unit?

they get sticky. clean it up real good, might also try a lower mileage unit from part out and clean it up real good. it's one-piece, about $375 from IoS.

Just a solenoid and a spring..............why there is a manual bypass screw to compensate somewhat.

Spend an hour with solvents and dental tools to clean. Replace [or clean] PCV valve at the same time.

All a multipart system that must be clean as brand new to function like brand new.
