Well as I staed in another post I made a fuel pump change and everything went smooth. Car fired right up and was idling fine.

Now after buttoning everything up, I notice the CEL is coming on after about 10 seconds of running. It starts fine, idles up to about 1200 rpm when cold, then drops to about 600-700 rpm then starts running a little rough, and then the light comes on.

Any thoughts. Is it fuel pump related? Thanks for the help.

I'm going to check the codes first thing in the morning. I have the FSM and it seems straightforward. Is there anything to watch out for? FWIW the car is acting up like it did when I had a bad O2 sensor a few years ago.

Could it be a coincidence or does it sound like it could be a fuel pump issue?

I'll post the codes as soon as I get them, assuming I figure it out.

Thanks.

You did use a new O ring and torque to the correct values in offset sequence?

Ok, ran the test a few minutes ago and got codes 34 and 51. According to my FSM it is the knock sensor circuit and the injector circuit. Does any of this have to do with the FPCU? I changed the pump and the car starts fine, but I read in the one of the posts that the FPCU alters the fuel delivery at 3 different engine speeds (?), so maybe the FPCU was affected with the failure of the fuel pump.

I have the codes, but what do I do now?

Yes. I used a new o-ring; the old one was too big after removal to use again. And yes, I alternated the torqueing of the 6 bolts.
