G50: Can Knock Sensor Harness Be R&R'd Without Removing Plenum

Hope that I am not bugging my compatriots with too many questions these days, but please bare with me.Have a knock sensor code, and when I ohm the leads on the harness, I am showing an open on positive to ground for both sensors. Could definitely be the sensors themselves, but I would expect to see some resistance value. Is it possible to replace just the harness without pulling the plenum. I know that you need to pull plenum for the sensors.

While I am at it, Q45Tech mentioned using a knock sensor emulator. I take it that this is a homemade device. What are the details?
