Thanks! I can't wait to see what the 4.08 does for my performance.
I called Terry at Precision. He knows his stuff!
I am going to send him a core, just to make sure everything is right. He did say the input sahft was a lot longer on the early Q trannys.
I got a local transmission shop that was very familiar with the Nissan and Isuzu Cab over transmission, and will build me a strong modified racing transmission for $2,100.00 installed. He has the complete planetary set-up on the shelf. We also talked about adding resistance to get the line pressure up.
There is a great advantage to haveing a transmission shop 1 block from the dyno, which 1 block from my office, which is 2 miles from the local drag strip, where I can run all night long for $10 on Fridays.
Lola is going to be one quick Q in the near future.
Now I gotta get Robert to re-program my ECU.
Da Beast might have to defend it's title soon.
