I am considering a 2009 G37x and am wondering what kind of gas mileage everyone is getting?

Any feedback would be welcome.

Probably need to define this as a coupe or sedan since it is an 09. I have an 08 G35 Sedan XS. I get around 20-21 in mixed driving at the moment, about 24-26 long distance freeway at legal speeds.

This seems to be somewhat dependant on temperature with temps in the 30-40 degree area about 1 mph less.

My understanding is the 37 should be just slightly better.

Thanks. I am referring to the sedan. I was hoping for slightly better and you confirmed that with the 37, your numbers would be slightly better. I was hoping for 28 mpg highway.

Thanks.

it all depends on how you drive it.

I have gotten 30 mpg on my 06 6mt sedan on the highway.

but that was on flat ground with the cruise set at 70 for 4 hours.

I may get slightly better on the freeway on a long trip. My last long trip was with the car when it was new. Also mine is an XS with automagic so I believe that kills it by one or two.

And you may get slightly better, but keep in mind what is under the hood. My wife's Versa only gets a little bit better then what you are hoping for (32-34) and it has 1/3 the engine.

I also have a 99 300 m. Same size engine as mine, 40 less hp. My mpg almost exactly mirrors it on the same roads. With it I have gotten as high as 28 on the highway when the road is clear. My 64 Parklane convertible on the other hand would get about 12 when I was using it. Biggest problem there is you need a parachute to stop it and a second mortgage on the house to run it.
