Hi

I just picked up an 09 G37x coupe and wanted to see if anyone has lowered it and how they've done it?

I'm thinking of getting the G37 S coupe springs which I guess would be a little shorter and maybe won't void the warranty, any ideas?

Or alternatively, getting some H&R Sport springs? Again not sure if these will lower it too much (over 10%) affecting the struts.

thanks for any ideas and comments and info

The quickest way to lower your car is to fill it with concrete, but that kinda ruins it forever. The springs for the G37 RWD are about $100 each, and I'm not sure if they're a direct swap. I would imagine so, since the 1st gen sedans and coupes are swappable.

I've used the Eibach ProKit springs for my 07' G35 sedan. Lowers the ride by 1". Does require getting both front (~$350) and rear (~$125) alignment kits installed to allow correct camber/caster/toe to be set. You really want to do all the kits at one time otherwise you'll waste a lot of money on labor.Great overall feel to the ride with vastly improved cornering. Stock dampers are ok, but down the road should upgrade to Koni yellows or D-spec's.
