2009 brand new G37x - 2200miles. Busted Cam Sprockets.

What are my options?

Let the dealer fix it...

dealer says the part is not available in the US. has to get it from japan.

would take 3 to 4 weeks.

i will call this a lemon....

By definition, it is not a lemon. And, you get a free loaner. So, what's the problem?

I agree it sucks...but at least you get to drive a G37 loaner for awhile and keep those extra miles off your G.

very curious, what were the symptoms?? SES light? Code???

Have had my var. sprockets replaced too on my 05

Oh, and that was on the THIRD time in for the same thing....So, it was really close to being a LEMON!!!

On the third time, they kept my G for 1 month. They replaced everything on the engine that could possibly be throwing the code.

We did get a few loaners and Infiniti did make 1 car payment for me. Soooo, if I were you.....
