Just purchase a very nice 2009 G37X from local Infiniti dealer. Had a few troubles with finding the right one with the right amenities but, on the eve of 12/23/11 salesperson called and said had the perfect car. Looked sharp, sticker said had everything we wanted - took her home. Drove nicely, slight pull to the right, but figured they'd handle that, couldn't sync bluetooth. Matter of fact, doesn't even have the bluetooth option (listed on sales flyer posted on internet and on paperwork where I signed for the vehicle) - Disappointed went back to dealer next day. (had to anyhow because they put the temp tag on with date of 1/24/11 [11 months expired..])
They agreed they would install, didn't say anything about putting some cheap parrot system in with a big microphone attached to roof and a super-glued control set with exposed wire on center console. Quite pissed @ dealer. Took a luxury automobile and made it look like 'jim-bob's' used auto sale.
Complained to GM @ dealer, sales guy called me today. Says they can't do OEM equipment in vehicle, offered another (slightly higher price) parrot system with a screen as neither could link with ondash display.
Question is, does anyone know of an aftermarket, quality, bluetooth setup that directly links with stock radio (no nav)(xm capable) ?? I have found only this =
http://www.icarkits.com/cars/INFINITI_G37_2009/PNISV9BT or this = PNI2GV1-BT..
However, it appears as though neither one will allow voice recog for dialing, just answering..
