My 2008 g37s started losing power while on uphill grades. Once on flat terrain it seems to run fine. Check engine light came on as well. Any ideas what is causing this?

go to autozone or advanced auto and have them do a OBD scan and then look up the code online, thats a start

The error code is p1606. What does this code mean?

cant really find much of anything on the code, but.... i did do some searching and it sounds like a few people have had this problem as well. Everybody's solution is to bring the car to infiniti and have them re-flash the ECU. its worth a shot

Does accelerator sensor mean anything to you? I found several mentions of this online, but I can't find anything about the part.

On another topic, how diffucult is it to change the headlights on this car? They rotate with the steering wheel.

Thanks

According to the service manual this the problem is the VVEL module which controls the variable valve timing. Does this mean the module has to be replaced? Any idea of the cost to replace this?
