I have a 09 G37 Convertible and the engine will not turn over after the starter attempts to start. Unfortunately I allowed my girlfriend to take the vehicle to the mall and she left the top down while a quick thunderstorm down poured in the car. She could not get the vehicle started and I still can't figure it out? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Interesting...I would check your fuses by the drivers side floor compartment. If you cant fix it, a dealer would be the best option...should be under warranty.

could also be an issue with the smart key - not transponding properly. check all the fuses like Joe said. Make sure everything is nice and dry

Welcome to NICO

1- Perhaps a new girlfriend? :chuckle: Or this one owes you big time :naughty:
2- If you are not a AAA member consider joining
3- Have AAA pick up your vehicle with a flatbed tow truck and drop it at the dealer

Good luck

That's what I am looking to do. I used an opdII and there were no codes. The engine really wants to start but will not turn over, almost like a safety switch is holding it back.

Is it a 6MT? Could be the clutch switch...
