I think it is a put needless to say I watched it again with a huge smile on my face.

The gap between BMW and Infiniti closed up in all segments years ago and all productions. There is no gap anymore. I know it is hard to take when you pay 10k more. Some BMW owners actually realized that but not many. With the reliability issues soon more will be going away fro the badge and look for something more reliable like Infiniti.

Thanks for the post.

Somewhat they actually solved that problem by installing some oil coolers. I believe but they did not install to everybody just for a few lucky ones.

But I think that is the smaller problem the bigger they have the fuel pump. Some owners been replaced 3 fuel pumps already. I would be really really pissed if my car would brake down every 3-4k.

What I don't get tho why there is no recall or at least TSB for it.

Oh BTW BMW just raised their price.

Fuel pump failure is a serious safety issue than say oil consumption. . At least the owner can check for oil perioidically and top off their oil. I just winder what would happen on a highway if a fuel pump goes dead in the middle of a highway, and the person is right in front of an 18 wheeler that takes forever to stop? I don't even wanna think about it.

Well I just had a 335I pull out in front of me on my way home... he was going to pull out and then he stoped.... then he rolled foward and then went... as I am coming pasted a stop light going about 60mph.

I was like F*cking c***! I just think that all BMW drivers are Cocks in their driving habbits!

did two laps and went into limp mode... that is embarassing... im in the infinity camp because i didnt think the extra 6-10k was worth it... plus going to get service on a bmw would eat at your pockets... that was my deciding factor... to me there is no reason a car should be in the shop every month or two past an oil change...

yeah i did read that they fixed the over heating problem and fuel pump problem... but that a lot of parts are back ordered... man i would be mad... just brought the car, and you already driving a curtisy car...

I went with Infiniti because I hated repairing my BMW. Parts were expensive and then if you add labor... I wouldn't even consider the dealership costs!
