I have a question and i cant seem to find a answer to it ANYWHERE

On the G37S (Sport Package) it says you get a VLSD, but i keep hearing that all G37's and G35's after 2005 have a VLSD regardless of the sport package... Is this true? Is there any different between the VLSD on the G37S than the other G37's? If so, what is it?

Also, how does this VLSD compare with the older G35's VLSD.. is it basically the same and I just got sucked into buying the sport package with a VLSD that is the same in all the other G cars?

:welcome: to NICO!

I suspect you'll get more responses in the G35/37 forum, so I'm moving your thread there...

For the 2009-2010 G37 sedan you get VLSD with the Journey or sport packages. Sedan base nor AWD have VLSD.

2008-2009 G37 coupe had VLSD with Journey or sport packages. 2010 G37 coupe you get VLSD with sport 6mt package only.

Does G37 convertible have VLSD? If yes which trims and which years?
I am planning to buy 2009/2010 G37s automatic, will it have VLSD?
Thanks.

I think only the IPL convertibles come with VLSD. You can dig through the specs and overviews to see if there is a mention for the non-IPL's but I didn't find any.

None of the convertibles come with VLSD. even the IPL version. The pumpkin is 3.9 ratio.

If you get a coupe, then just make sure you get the sport package and it should have the VLSD. You can check it by taking the VIN number to the dealership and have them check

Hmm...yes, I was looking at the IPL coupe spec sheet and not the vert.

I am pretty sure all coupes with the sport package get the VLSD regardless of whether or not they are 6mt. VLSD is listed under features of the sport package for journey coupes on Infiniti's website.

I'm sure you are correct. That comment was going off the specs listing at the time for 2010 which shows 6mt sport gets VLSD.

The 2009 spec sheet shows VLSD differently

Strange that it is listed on the spec sheet like that, but if you scroll on down to packages it lists VLSD under the sport package even on the '10 and up pdf. I think someone goofed when they made that sheet.

Yeah, it was strange and I agree.
